uppena movie review

uppena movie review : Uppena marks the start of actors Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty. It also introduced Sukumar's assistant Buchi Babu Sana as director. The film has always been noisy. Despite the first trio, the high budget of the film, the big names in the background, experts like Devi Sri Prasad are the strong pillars of the film. All of this brought great popularity to the film. Has Uppena met the high expectations it carries?

What is it about?

Aasi (Vaisshnav Tej) is a fisherman who loves Bebamma aka Sangeetha (Krithi Shetty) from childhood. However, Aasi runs away to express her love for him. Bebamma is being watched by her cruel father Rayanam (Vijay Sethupathi) and his men. Rayanam is busy with his business and leaves the family in the end. Although he is an angry father, he is deeply concerned about his own dignity, his own dignity. Although Bebamma was impressed with Aasi at first sight. However, touching, physical intimacy between the duo develops feelings between the duo and strengthens their relationship. Soon, Aasi and Bebamma are in love and are deeply connected. Rayanam helps to celebrate. How Rayay is trying his best to fail his daughter’s love and how a young couple is struggling with all this Uppena related.

Performance's

Vaisshnav Tej's performance is OK. Although he was a newcomer, he did well in his role. However, it was Krith Shetty who stole the program. Her good looks, her expressive eyes made the youth fall on her. As an innocent girl she breathed the role of Bebamma. Krithi will make it bigger if she makes the right decisions. The presence of Vijay Sethupathi's length makes a huge impact. The big picture of Sethupathi comes in handy. He carries a film about Rayanam's powerful role. The way he imitated the character elevated the film. His subtle yet powerful show elevates the film. Uppena Games has no clue. Director Buchi managed to get the actors out.

Technology

Debutante Director Buchi Babu is very lucky to have all the resources to bring the blockbuster through Uppena. He has nothing to complain about. He got a big budget, a good actor, support from the mega compound, a solid production house like Mythri Movie Makers and a top director like Sukumar, an ace music director like Devi Sri Prasad and most importantly, he got Vijay Sethupathi and a fan base his. However writing would have been better. This is where Buchi Babu had to work well in the pre-production phase itself. If done better, the film has great potential to make it great. Yes, Sukumar was right when he said that the film has the potential to reap Rs 100 Crore. But director Buchi Babu is somehow not living up to it. Not all is bad, though. There were times when he delivered. Buchi's take as director is good. The film is rich in appearance. The frame of the gun is beautiful. Camera function deserves special mention. Devi Sri Prasad is an unsung hero after Uppena who stays on the shoulder of the film with his background results. Naveen's editing is ok.

Analysis

Director Buchi Babu has chosen the common plot of the poor boy who loves a rich girl. The conspiracy was made dead. From the Hollywood Titanic to several films in the regional industry including Rangasthalam from the same group, you have come to this point. However, Uppena has a different setup and base. This is where he gets a different shade. Uppena talks about masculinity and what it really means. This is where director Buchi and the Uppena team hit the high points. The film has a background that dispels sexual fantasies. A rich girl is adjusting her lifestyle because of her love. It is commendable.

The director has certainly taken some cinematic freedom. Uppena missed some points. Rayanam's strong desire for a naval base had to be better established. Lost in the love track of the best. If her daughter lost twice, Rayanam's response would have been much better. Factors such as keeping Bebamma's running as a secret have not been well thought out. Even the feelings of father and son between Vaisshnav Tej and Sai Chand can be improved though. There are emotionally charged scenes in the film that bring tears to the fore. This is where director Buchi succeeds. Even the most complex point has been made in a convincing way.

Having said all that, Uppena rides up romantic feelings on the middle stage. The conclusion forgives the ways. The emotional climax of Bebamma and Rayanam is heartbreaking. It's a good climax. All in all, Uppena is watched. We commend the producers for their hard work and spending a lot of money on new entrants. A different effort and not a movie used one can watch every Friday.
